Excursions
La Garfagnana:
Within easy reach of Trassilico there are numerous medieval towns which reveal various cultural aspects of Tuscany.
Visit Barga, Ghivizzano and Coreglia Antelminelli, famous for its plaster statuettes, or San Pellegrino in Alpe with its museum of mountain agricultural life.
A visit to the Grotta del Vento is recommended.
The Sea:
The beaches of Versilia (Porte dei Marmi, Viareggio, Camaiore) are within an hour and a half by car.
